Hi guys,

I follow each movement over here for the last half year.
I tried the software and really am amazed!

But I see only one thing I should need... subtitle-support while using Xcard!

Is it possible to add subtitle-support with lets say Directvobsub (while using Xcard), just as Tvedia did it?

I would really be happy with that feature.
It is also a good start to get the DVB subs working if DVB support is fully operational.

i think ffdshow could do this, there is a subtitle option in ffdshow, and gbpvr supports ffdshow, so i think it will work, havent tried it thou.

it's well supported already!

The VobSub Directshow filter, subtitles can be shown on e.g. Divx.
Works great!

Hmm, are you sure. All other software that support Xcard had to make modifications to get the subtitle output on the Xcard-output (just as OSD-output). I installed ffdshow some time ago and it only displayed the subtitles on the monitor attached to the videocard. Output to Xcard in TV-mode (S-video/composite etc) didn't have output.

Are you sure there is subtitle support when I output to the Xcard?

well you didnt say you were using the xcard, now did ya? nah it wont work then, gbpvr pretty much uses directshow filters to do everything, which is really good if you are using a computer monitor (or output via gfx card) and annoying if you are using xcard/350.

Reven... you are right. I edited my first post.

AFAIK Tvedia use directshow filters too and they have subtitle-support using Xcard-output for years now.
Would it be possible to add this feature to gbpvr? Please! it would make GBPVR complete for me!
