Doesn't Arcsoft Showbiz use the same decoder's as Arcsoft TMT?

I dont know. I dont have either one my machine.

It wasn't any more reliable using the RCA inputs than the SPDIF input.

To be honest. I'm not really sure what to suggest at this point. My audio seems to word reliably for me, though admittedly I'm not using SPDIF (since I dont have test source handy).

Thanks sub. I think I'm going to try installing it all again. If it doesn't work, I'll assume the card is defective since I don't see others having the same problem.

I too am having problems with audio inputs randomly not working. I have 2 colossus cards and an HD-PVR. There seems to be no rhyme or reason why sometimes a recording will not have audio. All I hear is a brief blast of static at the beginning of the recording and then silence.

I have both the spdif and rca inputs hooked up on all three hd-pvr inputs because I was having no end of grief getting 'just' spdif working. I still getting recordings (1 out of 5 all using the same card) where the audio doesn't work.
