EPG data double up

When I goto tv guide it takes 2 button click's to get to next tv program
but here is the weird bit earlier today it wasnt like that
I emptied the epg yesterday to fix it everything was fine earlier today
now all the programs are not marked red but tvguide is red at top
The recording are still happening its just annoying I end up going back in and doubling up because I think its not recording .

Do you have the 'update dvb epg during live tv' option enabled?

yes its ticked ??
I dont use live tv (ever)

since posting last night everything is ok again only thing that has happened since is a shutdown that happens everyday at 8:30

Actually, I guess its not named clearly - it also applies to recording.

It'll be ok again because the automated EPG update clears it up. Next recording might cause some duplicates to be pulled in.

Try running with that setting disabled.

Ok will do ill report back later (wont know till tonight seems to happen later )was wondering if its when client in bedroom is fired up but i tried that this moring and that didnt change anything
