Other threads on this topic suggest the Recording service not running at recording time error often results in an error message and and the recording mostly works, but for me it always fails (at least three recordings in the last week), all digital channels.
Like in this post, I did (accidentally) delete a channel, and I did have to rescan my two FTA channels. I assigned BOTH tuners to BOTH channels and merged the 2+2 channels into just 2 (could this be an issue?). How does this work, when I test it and look at the tray icon Device status window I only eever see it doing anything on Digital TV:1 , never Digital TV:2. How can I be certain both work?
btw, oddly the rescan produced different frequencies for the SAME channels. Is this normal?
And even more odd, the recording that failed was the one in the log from this post http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...post421439, posted 2 days before it failed....
