Can Blu-ray folders be treated like DVD?

My DVD rip folders are treated nicely in that they have only one "file" listed in the folder named "Movie.dvd". I just select this to play. My Blu-ray rip folders are not treated similarly such that I have to drill down all the way into the BDMV folder and select "index.bdmv" at the end of all the subfolders in the list. Is there any way for these to be treated similarly to DVD folders or is this a wishlist item? Thanks.

I've never tried a ripped blu-ray, but I can try to add support for it.

Thanks. Note that somehow it "plays" the bdmv file properly (plays the appropriate .m2ts file).

sub, ripped Blurays are working just like the discs, no need to do anything special on that front. IIRC, you show the ".dvd" file if there is a "VIDEO_TS" folder. He is asking (and I'm seconding) if you could the same for Burays. If there is a "HDMV" folder, just give a "Movie.bd" selection.

Yep, should be a relatively straight forward change.

Has this already been done? I am hardly able to play bdmv or m2ts files. So it would be a very nice update to find a movie.bd file
