HD PVR 1212 Tuning

Sorry guys,
I have read hundreds of posts and cannot find the answer to this. It looks like someone else has the same problem I have too. Recordings are working fine, scheduling and guide data from SD is working fine. Blasting using the blastcfg program works fine, but the setting doesn't "stick" when changing it in the settings profile for device setup.

I go into the settings and configure it to use the rca back inputs and the ir blaster instead of the executable. When i leave to save settings, it looks like they are never saved as I come back to the settings and they are back at default. In spite of this, it seems that the recordings work fine, but the tuner doesn't tune correctly. I know the blastcfg has it correct, because the test works fine, but the software command that it defaults to adds extra pauses and such that any number over a single number gets passed up. For example, 735 ends up trying to tune to 735 but it takes so long it ends up tuned to 5.

I looked in several config files to see if i could manually change the settings, but cannot find a place to do that anywhere and the interface obviously is not saving the settings correct.

I love this software and am so excited to get this working and it looks like others have fixed this problem, but i need a bit of help to figure out how. If you need logs or config files let me know, I think I have looked at them all.

Update, been reading other threads and want to add this info. The program i guess is supposed to set it to the haupp blast .exe which it does, and in the logs it looks like it calls the haupblast.exe program, but that is I guess either not using the same config as blastcfg.exe or something because the problems still remain. It trys but has extra delays and such which causes the tuning problem. Anybody else have any fixes?

It looks like for the most part, I have everything setup, just something with the haupblast. The other thread I read had a few patches from 5-2011 but I am guessing they have already been integrated into the version I am using (latest downloaded yesterday from the website)

looks like redoing the blastcfg from scratch and then rebooting everything, now it seems the tuner is working. Will post back if I have more problems but looks like we are fixed. I think nextpvr would not recognize the change until the program was restarted or maybe the computer had to be restarted but it appears to work
