Weird duplicate recording of same show on ONE tuner?

In there, one sample he provided had and earlier recording

After using the fix to the script, which would have happened around the 6th, that leading space would no longer be there but there would be two recordings for that time. The time change just probably added to the confusion.

Good memory Martin; Apologies if other things I have done have sorted up a hornets nest of oddities, it's amazing what you folks think of and investigate as causes and error trapping though.
This would explain duplicate reservation for that show to some extent, although the no red bars or mismatching red bars still seems a mystery.

Yep...that would cause a new recording to occur for sure.....

Not much of a mystery there are logical explanations when titles change, exacerbated by the leading space change. For example if you scheduled a recording for " Pacific Mystery" in one update and the next EPG update changed this to "Pacific Mystery Solved" which you cancelled, the top red indicator would still show red for but there wouldn't be a show attached to the time.

You are absolutely correct Martin!

My XMLTV Grabber TVXB needs to be tweaked on a weekly basis to get rid of all the Product X Presents parts in "Product X Presents: The Pacific". I tried leftclipping on Presents:, so they then change it to "Product X Presents : The Pacific", then "(Product X Presents The Pacific", then "The Pacific (Product X Presents)", so it's a constant battle, but is absolutely the reason. One day the parsing clipped "The Pacific" and left "The CEO Connection", but the previous day it had already reserved "The Pacific".
