There are also web-config.xml settings to set NEWA to transcode live tv rather than stream it....instructions are in the change log (on statistics page) under build 1.22. This still uses the VLC plugin like streaming does. I didn't have too much luck with the transcoding being consistent. Using the NEWA stream option that utilizes VLC transcoding on the server provides better results.
