Hi,
I have a dish with 3 LNB's and a diseqc switch. When scanning for channels in NPVR, I can usually only get channels from 19.2E. Unfortunately I don't know exactly how the dish and switch are set up, as this is at my office and they were installed many years ago on an inaccessible rooftop.
If I connect the dish up to a sky box, it immediately finds all the usual UK channels from 28.2E. If I then attach the cable back to the PC and scan 28.2E (using the single LNB setting), NPVR finds all the UK channels, and I can watch any of them. However, as soon as I tune into one of the channels on 19.2E I lose the ability to tune the 28.2E channels. I can only get this back by connecting the dish back up to the sky box again, and then to the PC.
It seems that the sky box is sending a signal which is operating the switch. Does anyone know, if/how I can get NPVR to do the same?
I'm using a hauppauge Nova S, Win 7 32, and the latest version of NPVR.
I've tried running the 28.2E scan using the 22khz switch settings, both using satellites A and B, and I've tried selecting 28.2E in each of the four slots with diseqc selected. I have not adjusted the LOF settings, as I can't seem to find any information on these that I can understand.
Any suggestions on how to get things working would be much appreciated.
