just had a quick look on ebay and the HP ones should work also http://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-RC1804911-06-...1e6af8c611
have a few microsoft brand ones that look the same receiver as this
I would stick to main brands (dell hp hauppauge )
i have had a philips one in the past had to modify the ini file for it to work with xp so not perfect (didnt respond as quick for some reason),white round one with bottom cut on angle

right now have hauupauge one(small one but with blasters still)
and a few microsoft ones(bigger square looking ones like the link i posted above)

I have two of these and recommend them:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Microsoft-MCE-Re...336094b476

It has the colored buttons which are not on all MCE remotes, especially the Dell version.
HTPC: Optiplex 7010, HDHR Prime/Avermedia Duet A188, NPVR 4.2.5, Win10 Pro

I'm not sure about the differences between these and the standard MCE remote, but one of my MVP's came with the early remote that didn't have as many buttons (34 perhaps?) as the newer 45-button version. I bought the new 45-button remote from Hauppauge for $9.95 each: http://store.hauppauge.com/accessories2....uct=remote I'll have to leave it to others to know if this remote is compatible with the Avermedia card.
i3-3570k, 8GB RAM, Win10 Pro, Nvidia GT710, HDHomeRun (OTA), NPVR 6.x
On a clear disk, you can seek forever...
