I have had this issue for a while and hoped after a few versions it would sort itself

After playing a video for more than about 10 minutes and I stop the video it takes ages to go back to the recordings screen (anything from 5-10 seconds)
Seems to be worse once recordings start at night but its random when it does do it
Does anyone else have this happening?

I see you're using AutoRefresh (with some strange output from its logs if nothing else: 0Hz at times for instance). Are you sure the problem isn't just your monitor/display taking a while to switch between refresh rates at the end of playback? Most digital displays take at least a second or two to do this, although 5-10 does sound a little long.

It looks like you have a network drive, or some other drive that goes to sleep, then needs to wake up when it can reloads the recording list.

Really that's news to me , no network drives
I have 3 harddrives all in the one machine
I did import the recordings so maybe video import or what ever I used to use pre nextpvr has added some weird path

It basically shows a 9 second delay loading the recording list. Usual reason for this is waking a drive, or re-establishing network connection, or similar.

Loading the recording list basically consists of loading the list from the database (very quick), then checking each file still exists in the specified location (varies depending on location of drives, whether they're asleep, remote drives etc).

Yes, you could try setting <AutoRemoveMissingRecordings> and <CheckForRenamedRecordings> to false.

I have seen a delay for about 10 sec after stopping playback of a recording, followed by heavy disk activity, but I have a lot of recordings so I have assumed that it is NextPVR that needs some time to do it's housekeeping, like storing playback position etc. No problem really.
