Recurring recordings are not always being added to my schedule after EPG update. Some nights it's OK:

Then my "Pending" list is empty.
Although I've had some problems with EPG, the main Guide seems full. In fact the missing recordings are currently shown Red in the Guide, but they don't appear in Pending. What can I do to make this more reliable? Is there a way to force a reload? When I restart the Recording Service, the log shows the same "Loading" message but without any wake up requests.

Update: After an EPG update, the reload was successful. Now the recordings are in "Pending", but the main Guide doesn't highlight them in Red, though the NEWA Guide highlights them in Orange!

you'd need to post your full logs, not just little snippets.

regarding the Guide not highlighting the pending recordings in red, this has recently become a known bug (though I'm not sure how known it is by the programmer). If NextPVR.exe is running when the EPG update happens, in some cases new recordings will not highlight. Closing and re-opening NextPVR.exe will resolve that.

Suspect this could be related to missing EPG issues reported elsewhere. The log shows Pending recordings are deleted after EPG update, immediately before update of Recurring recordings, so the episodes may simply be missing from the new EPG. As for them still being highlighted in the EPG, this may have been the "old" guide data not being refreshed by closing/opening NextPVR.exe. Last night's update has missed the next episode data from the guide, so I've lost them from Pending again.

Missing EPG data has been acknowledged elsewhere, with a workaround (untick "Use out-of-process digital recording"), but that caused my service to crash.
