goto pictures, goto recordings, get rid of video

1st: great product!!!
2nd: most needed: idiot proof user-interface.

hauppauge-quickbuttons exist for tv-guide, tv, music, radio, video

missing:
pictures (button is present bur does not work)
recordings

Suggestion:
Combine recordings & Videos:
-> maybe i miss the point, but I don't see the reason fro having 2 groups with video's.

make button for pictures functional
make button for video, 'goto-recordings/video's'

note: if 'whatever button' is made available for recordings, i would be able to redefine irremote.ini myself

shortcuts to sections (above goto-funtions) functional from all places.

- implication: mini-guide no longer under 'tv-guide-button'
i think that is a good idea:
-> my wife will understand better if all buttons work equal at all times.
-> Above change will make these functions 'idiot-proof'. NOW wife/child has difficulty to use them, because they do not understand when they work and when not.
Result: i advice not to use the functions (peace of mind)

You can set the plugin target for the picture button in the config app.

Videos and recordings will be staying separate. They perform quite separate tasks, and I suspect it'd just be a big ugly mess trying to combine them.
