I've got this question for some time now, but never got around to ask this:

In the music library settings, there a setting to auto queue all remaining directory files.
I've also got video files grouped in folders, but I can't autoplay a whole directory. Did I miss something, or is this not possible?

From memory, with the directory highlighted, you can press play and they'll all be queued.

That works! But, in the folders I've got a number of episodes of children's programs and with the directory highlighted and "play", it always starts at the top.
So I guess it would be something on my wishlist to have an auto queue for video library like it is for music library.

Thanks.

If you enter the directory & select the [..] at the top & then press play it will (if I remember right...it may pay to check on the wiki) play down from the top, but the next time you select that folder it will remember where it was up to & continue from there.

I was almost right.....

from the wiki
"Ctrl-P (when the up one [..] item is highlighted in the list)"
"Play All least recently watched (or oldest if none have been watched)"

I tried a bit and I think that selecting [..] and pressing play doesn't play all files in alphabetical order. Maybe another order, date or time or something, I don't know. Besides that, I can't select a starting video after which the rest is played, just like in music library. I would prefer that, so this is back on my wishlist Sub.

Correct. That was why I spent my time finding it on the wiki & posting the follow up message

I knew it wasn't what you were asking for, but it is another option & it is working now.
