Nextpvr 2.5.5 crash and cannot restart service

I installed ityesterday and it worked fine until tonight when it said it had an unhandled exception and crashed. I tried restarting the service with the same crasha nd unhandled exception. I also rebooted the computer several times with same result. My logs are attached.

It looks like NRecord is hanging trying to start a recording each time, getting stuck in a driver call maybe (it dies after creating the recording graph, never gets to the crossbar routing, bitrate settings, channel tuning, etc.). The last time you started it though, at 2012-08-24 00:18:15.213 it looks to me like it started ok; did the recording file "E:\Shows\Raws\OPO_cap056_20120824_00100100.ts" get created and does it have a recording in it?

That last time it used your second tuner, while the first three times it used your first tuner so that may be a clue there. Have you updated your Hauppauge PVR driver to the latest? Exactly which PVR model are they?

You don't have an NPVR.log for that time though, so I can't see whether it was able to talk to NRecord after that (in fact all your NPVR logs are older than any of your NRecord logs, so it's tough to see what's going on).

In any case, to me your logs point to a problem with your tuner(s).

I suggest you try to start NRecord at a time when it's not going to immediately start a recording, and see if it starts cleanly that way. Then try disabling your first tuner, and see if you can record with the second tuner.

(edit: while you troubleshoot this, it may be best to cancel all those manual recordings you have scheduled)
