Live TV fails - lost recording

Sub, I tried the nightly xbmc to test a bit and it looks like when I started live tv to test and nothing happened except it blocked the tuner without lease fail messages and it didn't unblock for a scheduled recording. I didn't notice it early enough so only have nextpvr logs.

Are you using Windows build XBMCSetup-20120926-318230c-master? I installed that build a little after noon on 2 clients and it has worked without issue (so far.)

Yes, but I expect I wouldn't have the latest files from sub plus I was trying 720p over marginal wifi. My biggest concern is the issue that the lease on LiveTV should have expired after I exited XBMC and allowed my 2000h recording to record. I got it ok on the west coast feed but I won't always be so lucky.

I hope Sub doesn't mind, but here is the latest PVR addon, it should have all the changes (including a few of my own for channel images.)

Thanks I'll try it on the weekend, python is not working for me after xbmc pvr was merged into the mainline o I can't work on XNEWA at the same time as test this.

Ah, gotcha. I was also wondering if that might have a hand in the other issue you were having with your HD-PVR? Mine did some wired things until Sub added the multistream support.

No the changes sub made are great even for normal NextPVR use, I just another 100ms or so. I haven't looked at the source yet but I figure XBMC handles the URL the same way.

The problem in this thread was caused using sub's add on though.

I don't think this has anything to do with Sub's addon, but I tried the Nightly from last night (9/28) and it won't even load the channels. When it first started, it said Live TV was enabled but no addons were enabled. So I enabled NPVR and it locked up.

It appears they have been making some changes to Live TV the past few nights.
