Just installed on my QNAP NAS via docker. Was able to map all the directories correctly and stumble through setup well enough to load channels through my IPTV provider. I am using the Kodi 19 client on the same LAN as my QNAP NAS running the server.

I have Timeshift disabled and am only using the Realtime setting in the client.

I am using an M3U playlist to import channels and a XMLTV stream for the Guide.

On most channels when watching for a few minutes the client skips backwards 1-2 minutes randomly. I have tried various client machines with the same results. I can't seem to pinpoint any sort of pattern.

Since it was a Docker container deployed to my NAS I would classify myself as a very basic user. I've posted logs. Was hoping this was a known issue. I did see another post complaining about similar issue on an Android client but the post didn't have a resolve. There was some mention of a .ts change but it was above my head and not very clear what needed to be done.

Any help appreciated, other than this weird bug I am loving the simplicity Smile

We would need the Kodi debug logs. You are definitely using Timeshift though. I'd prefer to see this on a device other than what looks like an older FireTV

Your m3u files is using m3u8 sometimes providers give an option to use ts streaming instead of m3u8

Hi Martin,

Timeshift is disabled on the NextPVR client. Are you seeing otherwise in the logs? I have since rebooted the server...it acted fine for a bit and then failed.

I hear you on the shoddy hardware. It's a Firestick 4K and is temporary to see if this will work. I have also tested the same configuration on my Nividia Shield with the same results.

I will do a clean test later this week and include fresh NextPVR logs and Kodi logs with a timestamp in question. I will also ask the provider for a ts stream. Can you elaborate what the TS stands for?

Thanks Smile

Hi Martin, I checked with provider and they don't have a TS stream option.

I have a decent test set for today. Going to reboot NextPVR server, flash a new Kodi install and install just NextPVR addon. Watch until error and then wrap the logs and post here. That sound like a clean test to you?

Another thing I wanted to test was using another frontend client. Can any of the other PVR clients like Simple IPTV with a NextPVR backend?

Thanks again, super appreciated Smile

I don't suppose anyone has found anything about this issue? This is happening with every provider I have tried. Doesn't happen with VLC or the Android apps. Driving me nuts that I can't figure it out.

Posts without logs drive me nuts since they are such a waste of time and there is no way to look into this otherwise.
