How about one of these -- an EVGA GT 430 (Fermi) 1GB? I found another thread talking about this board related to XBMC and it sounded good.. Any thoughts?

My only concern with that Zotac and other atom based machines would be whether it could handle netflix'ing under Windows7.. From what I gather they may be a bit underpowered since they have to use MS's Silverlight which eats a fair amount of CPU from what I gather..

I'd expect the GT 430 to be just fine for HTPC based on where it fits in the Nvidia line and it price. No idea if it has any issues. I can't vouch for BD, but for normal recorded US TV it should be good. My 9500GT works fine. EVGA is a big supplier of Nvidia cards. There is a limit of 100 per customer, though. Not sure if that's a problem for you. Smile
HTPC: Optiplex 7010, HDHR Prime/Avermedia Duet A188, NPVR 4.2.5, Win10 Pro

Thanks Mike! I did some more checking off-line as well and found others that seemed to really like this GT430 card for HTPC use.. I've got to visit the local Fry's to return a power supply and one other item and this ought to be covered by the refund $$.. Smile -- hopefully they've got one..

Yep, the 430 will work perfect for 1080p content as well as anything else you can throw at it Smile

As far as the Netflix question goes, it works perfect on the atom Zotac machines... I launch Windows Media Center to play Netfix movies and then exit back to XBMC when im done. They are very versital media clients.

Thanks.. At some point I'd like to try the netflix plugin -- I think I saw one somewhere for XBMC.. I'm assuming that would make it a more seamless endeavor for the WAF value..
