Thanks Martin for pointing me right. A bit of sniffing got me to sub's thread here:

NShared.dll was the issue it seems. I now have timeshifting and channel change within xbmc and NextPVR add-on. Cheers as usual

He he, you beat me to it as usual. Should not this patch be in johnsonx42's getting started to avoid confusion? Or may it interfere with other normal day to day NextPVR useage?
