NMT install help

One thing I hate about building a new computer is all the little things you have to do over.
So, I finally got to the part where I set up my NMT and as usual, I've hit a road block. After I got it setup I do show NPVR as an option on the NMT but get a "request cannot be processed" message.
NMT Checker gives the following:
Checking for mvpmc share on MEGAPC
mvpmc C:\mvpmc

Checking GB-PVR.html links
C:\mvpmc \GB-PVR.html not found

I'm sure I missed something but since it's been almost 2 years since I set this up, I can't remember but I think I followed the info on the wiki to a 'T'.

I have a second system that works well but it's off while I try to get this working....it's listed as MCPC.

Your second system being offline is your problem since the NMT can't mount the share with mvpmcx2 on it. You can add another share on the NMT pointing to MEGAPC/mvpmc or you use the USB install which doesn't need a share. If you want to have more than one server available you can add specific the IP on the command line as Jaggy documented nicely here http://www.nextpvr.com/nwiki/pmwiki.php?...lTips#toc4

Got it. Thanks. I think I can work thru this now but like the USB route and will give that a try.
For now, my sons home for the holidays and is making noise with the Xbox so I'll give it a shot later.
