Man, I wish it was thy simple. I've called that number about 6 times and spoken with 6 different people. Everyone seems to say "looks right let's send a tech." Both techs I've had at my house have said "sorry, we're at the mercy of the provisioning people.

Not sure where to turn, I've spent about 12 hours over the past three days working with these guys.

You can use ZAP2XML to get data scraped directly from ZAP2It:

That's very odd. It really was that simple for me, I think all they needed was the cablecard MAC address. No tech at house.

This is probably the only time I've been impressed with Comcast.

Perhaps the zap2xml grabber recommended by OTAjunkie and Handy.Man should be added to the Wiki User Manual's XMLTV EPG page. It sounds like Canadian NPVR users really need it, and it might work just as good as mc2xml elsewhere.

Hello again. I presume you are subscribing to some encrypted premium digital channels, since no card is needed for analog or "clear" QAM channels. When you first set up your QAM device under NPVR settings, they were probably detected as encrypted and thus not included in your Channels list. The obvious question seems to be: After Comcast said "looks right," did you re-scan for QAM channels? If so, were they still detected as encrypted? I hesitated to respond because I don't use a card myself. Perhaps a card is a device in its own right, in which case maybe you should start a thread seeking help for that specific device.
