Remove requirement for file share on server

It occurred to me the other day while playing with xbmc that the only information required to configure the PVR plugin is the server, port and PIN code. Are there any plans to remove the file share requirement for the NextPVR client and push everything through the same port? It seems this would simplify things.

Sorry, no it's unlikely this requirement will be removed. Having this share in place saves me a whole lot of work.
