gwyden,

I did and actually posted a new version on wiki that fixes some bugs (zaptools not xrecord). I am not sure it will fix it but has some more debugging info if you can test it with your listings that would be great.

I'm pretty new to GBPVR, and I'm getting to like it. One thing I'd like to add to CDKScheduler is an option on how many recordings of a show to keep. I like to have some news shows like Hardball and The Factor recorded, but there's no reason to keep more than 1 or two of them around. SageTV has a setting like this where you indicate the maximum number of episodes to keep. After recording an episode, it will delete the oldest one if there are too many.

Is this something that can be easily done by creating a new utility executable that will be run in PostProcessing.bat that can scan the PriorityRecordings.xml file for the new setting and delete episodes as necessary? If so, I could volunteer to get my feet wet and do that.

You could easily do something like this in the PostProcessing bat file by running another executable. Get either the source for RenameRecording or another standalone GBPVR utility and modify it. I'd probably suggest having a file that could be read to control this.

If I ever get free time, and this utility hasn't been written, I may take a crack at it myself.

I have thought about writing that executable in the past. The reason that I did not was sub said it was on his near future todo list.

It would be a pretty easy exe.

I shall take a crack at it myself. If nothing, I'll get more familiar with GBPVR. I'll have it read from an XML file to get its data that will be separate from the CDK recordings file for now.

OK, I've got it done. This is pretty easy actually. Here's a zip file with the source code along with the executable, sample configuration file and instructions. I think I'm going to make a rename program as well as the current one does not seem to work. Should this be posted on the WiKi?
