Just thought, in light of recent client freezes during Live TV:
I have five HDHR devices connected to my network. It would be nice if it would be possible to configure an (otherwise) NPVR client install to use the HDHR tuners directly for Live TV (since that doesn't freeze on me), but to keep the server functions all on the "server" machine - that being the updating of EPG data, scheduling recordings, doing recordings, etc.
I imagine this would add a decent amount of logic into the program for tuner priority - but with five tuners, for me it shouldn't really be an issue. At most - I would just need use of one of them at a time, and if I had to pick one to be dedicated to my client machine, that'd be fine too (I don't think I have ever used more than three tuners concurrently).
