XBMC Playback

Is it just me or XBMC playback video quality (LiveTV or recording) is worst then when i playback form WMP or from Npvr? If so, is this because XBMC doing some sort of operation in the background causing this or XBMC + PVR addon and its the same with any PVR addon that is used?

Actually for playback rendering comparing XBMC with ffdshow won't really show anything. If you view your recordings via the Video Libraries and not the PVR interface do you have the same problems? Also if you are viewing 480i or 1080i files have you enabled de-interlacing?

When i playback via X-NEWA or NPVR addon. But i noticed De-interlacing wasnt on. so i put it to Auto and the picture seems to be nicer and more on par with playing files externally. Thanks Martin
