I like the idea it's a "full" pc - wonder how it would handle 1080i h.264 video.

compared to those video cards, yea it would compare poorly!
would be more relevant if it had something more reasonable to compare against..like other low-mid end video cards, not just gamer high end stuff..
i just hate that ATI almost always lower the mem/gpu speeds on internal video systems so much..
guess they can't build robust cores that can handle real gpu power requirements yet...
i mean low power is nice, but not at expense of total functionality!

Those benchmarks are for 3D rendering relevant to game players and not to do with their ability to take over HD video processing from the main processor. I was looking at some of those mini ITX motherboards with Intel or AMD low power processor and on board video processor as a NextPVR client because people say they work well even for HD. However it seems to be getting very difficult to find anyone who stocks them anymore!

I posted that link in response to psycik's question, it is more than is needed for NextPVR. At the same time the fact that E-350's are better should at least give you the idea that this is a minimum level client for both CPU and graphic performance.
