I did the SAF6... Even with the unlocked version and with all set to LAV it seems to work find... Way kewl! Thanks, everyone!

Glad to hear it. I read somewhere that the LAV video decoder's shortcomings pertain mostly to HD channels. BTW you said in your first post that a scan found 27 channels, which sounds like basic cable, perhaps all analog channels. Did you try a QAM scan? Clear (unencrypted) QAM digital channels are becoming increasingly common in the U.S. (You'd probably need to connect the cable to the card's other coaxial jack.)
