2.6.2 + Nova HD USB2 SAT not working

When I try to scan for channels on my Nova tuner NPVR locks up, not responding. Only way back is reboot. This tuner was working on 2.5.9 - but this is a clean install. attached logs

this bsod issue was on WHS2011. I've been running successful on W7 for a long time. Since I'm running virtual enviroment I did a clean W7 test, no bsod now, only npvr lock and stop responding.

There is nothing obvious in that log. It looks like the device locks up the first time it goes to submit a tuning request.

Do you have a terminator on the LNB output? I used to have problems with that device when I didn't have a terminator on the output.

Does the same thing happen every time?

same thing every time, no terminator, never had one. Neve used a terminator on dvb-s only dvb-c. Cannot even find them for sale when I check website of tech stores in Norway :/

ok, back for the sattelite special store with F-Plug terminator, come back and notice there is no lnb out on my Nova sat USB

I'm having a crashing problem with a PCTV DVB-S2 card when playing from an existing setup. Out of interest I tried a full rescan and NPVR completely crashed. Needed to reboot to get the card visible again.

I found this in the end of the npvr.log

got to love computers, I reinstalled drivers, swapped usb port and it seems to be working fine now.
