NEXTPVR install not sucessful

Thank you all for your help. I dont know why Nextpvr would not install but I was able to get MediaPortal operating through XBMC. The programme may not be as good as NextPVR but atleast it's up & running and works well. Your help was appreciated I only wish my computer skills were up to the task of solving the problem.

If there's still an NPVR folder in C:\Users\Public, then you should delete it. If you should decide to try NPVR again, I suspect that the installation would go more smoothly with that folder deleted. I would suggest that you keep WinTV installed because it includes an MPEG2 decoder that NPVR could use with Windows 8.

And remember to run the installer as Administrator (right-click -> Run as Administrator).
