This is possibly the last version of nDroid v1.x I'll upload as I'm concentrating on nDroid (TE) for both tablets and phones from now on.

Is it still possible to download v1.9 of the NDroid Windows service installer. I'm currently running v1.8.8 with the known bugs.
I would like to update to v1.9 as Ndroid seems to stream recordings or Live TV without any problem and NDroid(TE) doesn't and if I understand correctly as from v2 only NDroid(TE) is supported. That's why I didn't switch to v2.0.1 as I would still like to have the possibility to use NDroid besides NDroid(TE). PS: I tried to install v2.0.1 to give it a try but didn't succeed due to the Net4 installer problems mentioned in the NDroid(TE) thread so I'll wait till a final release solves that. TX, B.

I've just uploaded v2.0.2 of the service installer which hopefully fixes the recent problems - it is important that your PC has .NET v4 Client Profile. Also, just to clarify things, the nDroid Service is the same project as before and will still support v1.x of the original nDroid app as well as having some extra code to support nDroid (TE). Please give v2.0.2 of the service installer a try and if you do have problems then report back. Thanks. Cheers, Brian

I've successfully installed the new version 2.0.2 so the NET4 installation problem in version 2.0.1 seems to be fixed now. Everything is running although I still can not watch recordings with NDroid TE. I don't have that problem with the old Ndroid app and both settings for as well Ndroid TE as Ndroid are the same. Probably I need to address the NDroid TE streaming problem in another thread so let me know if there is already one open for this or if I need to open a new thread for it. Can you stream anything using the Videos view? If so then it sounds similar to what a couple of others have reported and there's a recent thread here... Cant stream any recordings ...although it seems to have gone stale. Cheers, Brian

thanks for the tip to the other thread. I've got indeed the same issues as mentioned overthere, able to play from videos but not from recordings or Live TV. Maybe it has something to do with the video type (*.ts versus *.avi)? I've tried practically all mentioned players and none of them works with NDroid TE trying to play recordings ... strange.
