hi sub, any chance you could post the list of service calls?

also could you clarify how the "What's New" recording list is determined? Currently I'm just showing recordings that took place in the last 7 days.

The calls that are currently available are pretty much what you've seen already in the XBMC client. There was a couple of other calls related to recordings that I was adding for compatibility with the Hauppauge iOS applications, but when I checked I remembered the recording calls were commented out in the build because NextPVR had quite different capabilities in it's scheduler.

Unfortunately your flourish of activity has happened at a bad time for me, since I'm 12000km away from home, otherwise I'd be in a better position to give you some quick turn-around support on getting the calls you need added.

On my laptop I've started dummying up some different forms of the "method=recording.save" to allow you to schedule one-off recordings, or epg-based recurring recordings, but I want to think about them a bit more before I commit.

Yes, it's the successful (or in-progress) recordings from the last seven days. The user can tweak the exact number of days with the <WhatsNewDays> setting in config.xml

You could either default to 7 days, or I can add a "method=settings.get", where you can pass in a xpath, and it'll return the user's configured settings from config.xml, enabling you to automatically pick up the user's preference.
