How can my tuner card be enabled (with channels) but not present?!

I'm trying to get NPVR to work on its own prior to using it within XBMC but I'm not having much luck. I followed the Getting Started steps under Settings > About but when I go to Live TV it says, "Unable to find available capture device."

P.S. I tried to upload my NPVR.log and NRecord.log files but the Manage Attachments dialog says, "Invalid File"

To attach logs

In Windows Explorer ... right click on the logs folder ... Select Send To and then Compressed/Zipped Folder.

This will create a something.zip file that should attach in the forum.

It looks like your tuner driver did not start properly (Present = No). NPVR saw the tuners at one time, as they are displayed (in the database). I have the same Avermedia Duet tuner and it occasionally has driver start/device not present problems, especially when the computer came out of sleep. I RMA'd the tuner and they replaced it, which pretty much solved the problem (this was 2 or more years ago, so if yours is newer, this may be NA). Check in Device Manager on the PC to see what it says about the tuner, I think it is under Imaging Devices. Then try a reboot and see if they are present in NPVR.

If your using OTA ATSC (not cable), I'd recommend disabling the QAM tuners, to keep things cleaner.

NextPVR has seen this device's drivers at one time, but it cant seem them now, so the device is marked as not present.
