Hi,

Okay so I have Nextpvr using a Ceton infinitv 4. And the problem I'm having is when i'm trying to watch live tv with xbmc it just says buffering 0% and nothing happens. In the settings program for NPVR I see that one of the tuners is active but nothing seems to happen.

Any ideas?

thanks in advance.

When it comes to cablecard devices, there is no built in support for Ceton tuners, only HDHomeRun Prime and Hauppauge DCR devices.

I think some people have got them working via the Network Recorder plugin, but I'm not well placed to answer questions on that. If you were going down that path, you'd want to confirm you've got the tuner working correctly in NextPVR itself before trying to add XBMC into the mix.

Oh sorry. Yes the tuners seem to be working within nextpvr using sageDCT. It also works with NPVR as a client on other computers. I'm mostly trying to get it to work on Android and iOS devices now. So if there were another piece of software that would work on those mobile devices I'd probably use that.

You need to use the ffmpeg option in the donator version of SageDCT with XBMC. You might have better success with Gotham. Android is still hit & miss for h/w decoding.

Martin.

That seems to have done it. For the PC version of xbmc at least. Didn't even know about the donator version. Thanks!
