You will need to apply the 3.1.1 patches http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...arted-Info and the change the PIN again.

You also need to understand the xbmc for Android in Frodo is really work-in-progress and performance will vary be device.

Thanks for your reply. Do I need to install ALL the patches? None appears to address what I believe is my problem.

I've updated my blog post with excepts from the NPVR log files and attached a *.zip of the files, which are also available from my SkyDrive account via the link in the article.

The log files added to the end of my post indicate that executing http://192.168.1.100:8866/service?method...evice=xbmc URL from a browser returns the expected response.

Yes you should apply all the patches. You definitely needed the PIN patch but because you use an ATSC EPG (not recommended) some of the other patches are needed.

I'd start by wondering why you now have XBMC configured to http://127.168.0.101:8866/ You are doing manual test to another IP http://192.168.1.100:8866/service?method...evice=xbmc which seems to be the correct IP

Note I personally don't support XAF builds, but the one you are using does use a really old version of sub's PVR add on, so it wouldn't expect it to run smooth.

patch #10 fixes the issue with the PIN, but it was released privately so the code is actually included with patch #16. So far I don't think there are any interdepencies, so there should be no issue with installing #16 by itself. (but as martin said while I was typing this, you should just install them all... sub doesn't release them to amuse himself, they actually fix problems!)
