command line nextpvr -updateepg while nextpvr is already running

Good morning

I'm new to Next PVR and to this forum. Please excuse me if I'm asking a question already asked. I couldn't find if this has previously been asked.

If NextPVR is already running, will the command line option nextpvr -updateepg work?

The reason for asking is that over time it seems as though EPG data disappears from NPVR even though the automatic update is switched on in Misc2 settings.

Yes, the -updateepg switch should still work when NextPVR.exe is already running. However, I believe the usual fix for disappearing EPG data is to uncheck the option on Settings->Misc->"Update DVB EPG during LiveTV".
