New Install // Black Screen

Black screen on both live and recorded. I know its a decoder, I just can't figure out. I know it will be something simple that I missed... so thank you in advance!

New install of 7, i3 w/ 4gb ram. HD Homerun Prime, I have a radeon 6670 to put in it when I put it in the media center case... which is hopefully later tonight!

Try the Microsoft DTV/DVD video decoder, and get AC3Filter for the AC3 and MPEG1 audio decoders. People have had trouble with the LAV decoders for US TV. The Microsoft video decoder should have been installed with Win7. The Microsoft audio decoder should be there, but cannot be used with 3rd party apps like NPVR, thus the need for AC3Filter.

Also, set the video renderer to EVR and the audio renderer to Default.

Tried your suggestions and I still get the same thing. I looked and I live buffer file is 0kb and all recordings are 0kb. Tuner shows active but no file.

My tuner is (network tuner) is setup on this rig and my "live" rig does that matter?

HDHR devices are network devices. Network devices typically need firewall rules, For NextPVR that is NRecord.exe NDigitalHost.exe and NextPVR.exe in/out for TCP/UDP

Ugh... guess who feels dumb? THIS GUY!!!

I knew it was going to be something dumb, and I even thought to my self earlier while out and about, turn the firewall off.. its off and it worked.
