NEWA not working after upgrading to 3.1.1

Umm, when you say the installer, you mean the .NET installer - InstallUtil.exe? Surely not...

I have no installer for NEWA - I just copy everything from the NEWA zip file into NPVR's web folder. What am I missing here?

I meant the NextPVR installer which installs NEWA.

Ah, OK, I just tried a re-install, without any change to the situation - we're back to the write access error. Obviously I didn't go around deleting a bunch of stuff before the re-install...

You could try the attached..... it will place a take ownership line in your right-click context menu (i.e. click on the folder and right-click). I have had to use this occasionally not related to NPVR..... believe it had to do with my Antivirus mucking with installs...... it is worth a shot....

Thanks, UJB, will give that a go. Eeird, isn't it, how thos sort of error just pops up?
