Blank video during sceduled recordings

First of all THANX SUB for a super app!

However, one issue: When the computer is waken from standby by recording services the screen remains black. I find it rather annoying to have to wait until recording is stopped before being able to watch anything...

Im using a PVR 250 and Nvidia Mx 440 graphics card. Normally the graphics card is only connected to my TV, but i have tried with a monitor as well. I can see the M/B post messages when recording is starting, then nothing.

ANY suggestions appreciated!

I get the same problem. Have you sorted it? I have tried everything to resolve this problem.

Exactly the same problem here and it's a bit of a pain. I have noticed that if you press a key on the keyboard or move the mouse then the whole thing comes on - almost like it's some kind of screen saver or the video card not initialising.

Problem is that my HTPC is permenantly controlled by the remote and this doesn't do the trick. This issue only occurs when it's an unattended wake - manual standby and resume work perfectly.

As a workaround I use hibernate instead as this works fine but waiting for it to resume is a bit of a pain.

I notice you guys both have nvidia cards and I also have a FX5200 (Svideo out). Wonder if this is the problem?

Would be nice to know if anyone found a way through this as I've spent several hours at it without success.
