Hi

This used to work fine but recently my recordings of radio programs on DTV have lots of digital stuttering.

If i demultiplex the mpg to mp2 audio they are completely gone. Any ideas?

Hi Brian

Sorry if this seem a stupid question, but how do you use GBPVR to listen to/record Digital Radio ?? As distinct from the "Net Radio" feature on the Main Menu.

I ask as my Twinhan Vision DTV-Ter card is capable of doing this with other software, but GBPVR only seems to tune in the DVB TV Channels - not any of the Radio Channels, e.g. BBC Radio 2. This may be the fault of the "BDA Drivers" I am using with GBPVR, instead of the native "WDM Drivers" that come with the original Tuner card software.

Were you referring to Net Radio, or is there another area of GBPVR where Digital Radio is available, or a plug-in that does this ?

Many thanks
Paul K.

As to your original report of stuttering, is it possible for you to listen via some other device to determine if the signal errors might be due to external factors beyond your PC (i.e. bad weather, change in strength of local/nearest transmitter etc.).

Having been listening to DVB Digital Radio for the last 3-4 years (here in the UK), even with a High-Gain Antenna + electronic amplifiers I am still amazed at how easily the signal can be affected negatively by atmospheric conditions (heard as pops and shrieks or worse - a complete loss of signal).

Unfortunately there is no DVB radio functionality at this time. Babybob must have been mapping them as TV channels, then scheduling recordings. This usage has not been tested by me.
