Anyone know how to get the previous night's listing to show up in the guide.
I've checked my XML file and the info is there, it just doesn't show in guide.

The data from the previous night(s) doesn't get loaded into the database during the EPG update even if it's there in the source XML, so there's no way to display it; you'd have to convince sub to change the program to load and show historical guide data. I suspect he would question the value of such a change vs. the work needed to implement it.

I think the data goes back to the last epg update and not the night before so it isn't that valuable a feature. My SearachLite utility does search for specific shows or movies that are past.

I set the switch (mc2xml) so it imports the data up to 24 hours before the update is run.
The data I want is in the file, just not in the guide.

I was hoping to be able to review the previous night's lineup in case of problems, but it appears that isn't possible.

Here's a solution I came up with, so as to not disturb the NPVR database and my scheduled movies.

Download and unzip this free webbrowser viewer for XMLTV files.

Just unzip that, preserving the subdirectories, and put the XSLTV directory into your mc2xml directory. Then create a custom batch file with these lines in your mc2xml directory:

mc2xml.exe -o xsltv\tv.xml

"C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe" xsltv\tv.html

The output file must be called "tv.xml" and be located in the "xsltv" directory. You can also add that 24 hour switch to that line. This takes care of that. Then the second line automatically opens the script in your browser after mc2xml is done. Put the path to your favorite web browser in if you are not using Firefox in Windows XP like I am.

It's not in NPVR, but it's at least a start.
