It seems that if there any any significant "blips" in the signal (ATSC) that XBMC just stops playback and seems to "freeze" requiring me to stop playback. This makes Live TV pretty much unwatchable if the signal is not perfect because it keeps freezing up. On recordings I have to restart playback and then jump past the problem area. Has anyone else noticed this?

I am not sure any player does well with poor signal, I just tried one of my bad stations with lots of drops and skips (also over wifi) and the buffering dialog popped up as I expected but no freeze.

Thanks for checking. Unfortunately, I don't get the buffering dialog, just freezes. I will have to try it in NPVR itself, but other programs like WMC take the breakups in stride and keep on playing.

I was watching a recording last night that had a few minor blips and one of them seemed to have caused XBMC to suddenly show a 4-hour length of the recording on the timeline. I had to stop and res playback and it then showed the correct 2-hour length.
