Colossus issue with 3.3.8

Other capture devices seem to work very well for most people. I remember using Hauppauge cards with with digital tuners able to capture the clear QAM channels and my system worked brilliantly almost flawlessly. The only real issues were with the Hauppauge drivers rather than gbpvr/npvr. My current issues began when Cogeco went to switched digital and I had to use the cable STB and purchased my Colossus cards. Of course we have to remember that Npvr is a ongoing project.

I have the original HDPVR with my STD and it has been nearly flawless from my XBMC-based clients since sub fixed a problem with memory a few release back. The only reported major problem that I still have is if I stop the recording service while recording via the HDPVR I have to reboot to fix it, but I know how to fix that.

Note the woes that SageTV users have with the Colossus http://forums.sagetv.com/forums/showthread.php?t=52718 so I can't say that only NextPVR has troubles, but you will find similar posts for the HDPVR too, on pretty much all
