Yes, kind of, but with IPTV it's different thing than multi-record. It's meant for internet IPTV services, and assumes every IPTV service is available simultaneously, and wouldn't work well for a limited resource like a network tuner. ie, it's not going to know that a know that a IP service has limits around what can be provided and what cant, so you'd end up with scheduling issues. For example, it might let you schedule recordings from 35 IPTV channels at the same time...it's not going to know that behind the scenes that IPTV service is actually a network tuner, and only can provide 3 channels simultaneously.

Any plans for supporting network recorders like Ceton and HDHomerun in the future?

Also is this implemented as recording one file initially then cutting them to overlap?

The HDHomeRun is already natively supported, and does multi-record etc.

There is no native support for the Ceton devices. I understand they can be used with the Network Recorder plugin though, albeit without multi-record at this stage.

No, it writes to both files at the same time.

It's great news that multi-record is supported on HDHR but it's not working for me in 3.3. It's always worked with atsc tuners in 3.2 and now 3.3. I did an inplace upgrade and haven't had any issues. Is there anything special that has to be done for mutlirecord to work with HDHR?

Actually, to be clear, it only does multi-record on the ATSC/QAM with the HDHR (ie, via BDA). You don't have to do anything special for this, it's always enabled.

Are you asking able HDHR Prime? No support for multi-record with that yet, but I'll most likely add it in the next release.

BUMMER! I was all excited that I'd be able to get pre- and post-padding for back-to-back shows on channels with the CableCards in my HDHR Prime & DCR-2650. (Losing that feature was a big loss when Comcast stopped clear QAM for the local broadcast channels.)

Sounds great sub! A little OT but do you plan on working on conflict resolution and adding episode titles to recording names in the future?

With these 3 I can fully switch to npvr, still using wmc for cablecard because of these. I have a simple idea that could greatly improve on wmc's conflict resolution by looking at the remaining airings. When choosing show to record for example: something on it's last airing will get higher priority then something that airs again.
