Hi,

I am having issues setting up nextpvr for the first time, my setup is:

2 x dual channel digital Hauppauge cards
Windows 7 x64
XBMC Gotham

When I add my four cards the TV channels show up four times, also the channel numbers are all over the place, BBC1 is at number 47 etc....

I have attached an image of what my channels look like, also some say four sources and some don't, I an confused..

Thanks for you help
Julian

As you went to scan the 2nd, 3rd, 4th device, it would have said something like "you've already got a DVB-T setup, would you like to copy the existing channel configuration", to which you should have said yes. This would mean you have four devices with the same shared channel configuration, and only single instance of each channel.

BUT you can click on "Bulk Map" and choose "Automerge channels with same name".

He can do it that way, but if he ends up with odd channel numbers, he may have to go back and do it the way I suggest.

That's the correct way ofcource, but I have experienced that different brand of tuners, or even different tuners on a multituner card, can have varying sensitivity so if you just copy the channels some tuners mey receive weak channels very corrupted. Better not to have those channels on that tuner if so.
