Is there a Android ARM updated DDL compiled anywhere? I'd like to update this on my FireTV as it currently can't connect to NextPVR due to the no tuner available error.

Logs from the client first. At this point we can't even tell if you are running XBMC, Kodi or SPMC

I'm currently running Kodi 14. I don't have access to the logs but can get them tonight if needed. I was assuming it is the same issue as before on my x86 client with ATSC subchannels and sub's fix for that not being part of the 14 build.

I'll actually be moving to a v15 nightly soon to try out the new de-interlacing work on the FireTV. I believe sub's fixes were included in that build so this may not be an issue anymore. Once I get that loaded up I'll post back with more details and logs if the issue is still there.

Hi all,

Just upgraded my laptop from Linux Mint v13 to LM 17.1. Instead of XBMC v12.3, LM 17.1 has Kodi v14 in the repos. Everything seems to work in Kodi except NextPVR. I found the following error in the kodi.log:

13:42:01 T:139954638276352   ERROR: PVR - Add-on 'NextPVR PVR Client' is using an incompatible API version. XBMC minimum API version = '1.9.2', add-on API version '1.9.0'

I installed the NextPVR plugin from the LM repos with:

sudo apt-get install kodi-pvr-nextpvr

Is there a newer build of the NextPVR plugin using API v1.9.2? If so, perhaps the LM repos just haven't been updated.

Also, do I need to install the NShared.DLL (and/or other patches) on my server to be compatible? What version of NextPVR is required for these? I've been traveling a lot for work and NPVR has been quite stable so I haven't kept up-to-date, and I know I'm not on the latest. But I probably am due for an upgrade here anyway.

That particular check is based on the compile date of the addon. 1.9.2 was released in Sept so that isn't the Helix repo. Did you forget to do these first?

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade

So FireTV is working fine for me using the v15 beta that has sub's latest versions.

My issue is the non-unique channels due to the ATSC Subchannels not being supported in the version of npvr included in 14. I'm fine staying on v15 as that gives me the new hardware de-interlacing as well.

I just figured I'd post back so you know the npvr included in 15 is working correctly with subchannels.

I had done the update/upgrade since installing LM 17.1, but was I suppose to do it again after installing Kodi?

Doing the update/upgrade plus reinstalling kodi-pvr-nextpvr did the trick. Thanks for the suggestion!
