Live buffer

Would it possible to add multiple live buffer paths? I have a machine that has 2 - USB cards and the dual channel Hauppauge video card. I also have dataram cache and a SSD drive. When viewing multiple channels I would like the card cache to different areas. Questions; Would that cause a problem? Second, does nextpvr cache the recording first or write the show straight to the TV SHOWS folders?

Sorry, it's unlikely that'll happen. Too niche, and complicates things for very little gain.

I'm not sure I follow you. When you schedule a recording, it gets written directly to the recording directory. If you press 'record' while watching live tv, it can choose to keep the file in the buffer directory.

sub, thinking on a similar line... I know this is probably already configurable with a little bit of work, but maybe some default configuration options in the gui for using a seperate drive (i.e. SSD) for LiveTV buffer as well as a staging space for scheduled recordings - i.e. the recording occurs to the SSD, gets postprocessed while on the SSD and then automatically dished off to the appropriate folder on another drive (presumably a platter drive) for longer term storage & playback - all while maintaining the entries in the database.
