In reply to your previous post, yes these are 16:9 HD QAM channels/recordings.

Capture of NBC in Window mode.... maybe that's not the biggest image... you guys want a better capture?

Something to note, when viewing SD content, the image appears to be cropped to appear 16:9, but not stretched. Not cropped so the top and bottom of the stream are missing.

I figured it out. What happened was AMD/ATI has a featured called Steady Video and when I disabled this (also make sure video scaling is set to maintain aspect ratio) the border is gone and the image looks great again.
