XBMC Recordings Art

I've noticed that when I go into the recordings section I don't get any art for the shows. A few searches showed me that this was an issue into September last year, but then the threads just end. Has this been resolved? If so any thoughts on why I wouldn't be getting them?

I did see that MediaBrowser does get art from NextPVR. So not sure if this is a limitation of the XBMC skin I'm using or the pvr addon.

There were changes submitted a couple of months ago to add this. This functionality will probably turn up in Kodi 14.1. Otherwise, if you're running Kodi on Windows, there was an updated addon posted here a while back you could try.

I'm using the updated addon, but I see that I didn't grab the nshared patch that was with it. I'll grab that tonight and see if that fixes things.

Sub you might want to follow-up, your addon will be pulled into Kodi 15 with this PR https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/commit/669b...cef0de374e but there is nothing showing in the Helix repo (for 14.1)

Sigh... wouldn't surprise me. I'm getting really sick of this shit. I'm almost ready to give up on XBMC.

The good news is your patch is now in the cutting edge nightlies for 15.0 and there's even a full OE image on the RPi http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=211501&page=16

ok, dumb question but I can't find where to put the contents of NShared from the new version+patch thread.

I put it with the main npvr.dll file but (at least in Titan) I didn't get any additional art. I'll try a different skin tonight if that's the right location.

It's an NextPVR program file and goes in Program Files (x86)\NPVR not with the Kodi addon.

Sigh... wouldn't surprise me. I'm getting really sick of this shit. I'm almost ready to give up on XBMC.

More bad news after I upgraded from my own win32 Kodi to today's nightly and NextPVR stopped working. If you remember they bumped the Kodi 15.0 API just before your PR and now your dll won't load because you had an older addon.xml.in file.

16:06:16 T:9200 ERROR: PVR - Add-on 'NextPVR PVR Client' is using an incompatible API version. XBMC minimum API version = '1.9.3', add-on API version '1.9.2'

The file has been modified so it does work now so in the next full rebuild from the server it should work.
