I like to use the NEWA desktop gadget as a quick way of checking on my recording schedule, but today an item appeared at the to of the list with no subject and a record date of Tuesday 1st January 12AM to 12AM??????
Well that date was back in 2013, I guess it must have been when I tried to setup a manual recording, but now I cannot find any reference to it or anyway to delete it nad in truth it's bugging me!!!!
Any idea how I can access the recording schedule and manually delete this reference, I've looked in all the obvious locations but cannot find anything.
Thanks in advance for any help with this.

Sorry Graham
This did not help I've checked these two .xml files already and they don't contain any information
It must be a request for a single recording that's appeared somehow.
Funny thing is it does not show up in TV Guide or TV listings (because it is in the past I guess) neither does it show in Pending in TV Recordings (part of TV Listings)
I just can't find anyway to delete it, I don't really know how it was set.
Frustrating of What!
Regards
Bob

Are you sure the recording doesn't show up anywhere in "Pending" or "Recurring" recordings?

If you want to go hunt for it by hand, the recording schedule is stored in NPVR.db3, in the Scheduled Recordings table. I use SQLiteSpy when I want to screw with (or screw up) NPVR.db3. Don't screw up!

Thanks for your help with this issue guys.
It does appear to have resolved itself!
For your information:
a Scheduled recording appeared as the top item in the Desktop Gadget for a recording 12AM to 12AM in Tue 1st Jan, which looks like it's 16 months in the past on channel one.
With you help I looked into "Pending" and "Recurring" in "TV Listings and also the .xml files and I could not find it!!
I have also Downloaded and run SQLiteSpy with which I looked into NVPR.db3 file Scheduled Recordings table where I also could not find any record. for this date or channel.
I had planned to delete all "Planned" and "Recurring" recordings today and see if there was anything left in the NPVR.db3 file Scheduled Recordings table.
But when I woke up my PC this morning this spurious item had disappeared.
So it looks like everything is back to normal.
I have learned form your advice, so it was not wasted...
Thanks again
Bob
