[Schedules Direct 2016-08-12 edit: The 90-day trial offer is now only available to subscribers in Australia or New Zealand as we begin offering our service there. Thanks to everyone who assisted in getting the service functional outside of the United States and Canada. We still have the default 7-day trial period if you'd like to try Schedules Direct.]
Hi, I work for Schedules Direct.
Recently, we've been expanding our international reach and we now have data for countries outside of the United States and Canada. Our typical trial subscription offers 7 days of free service in the United States and Canada, but if you're in a country where we weren't before and we now have data for your area, we're offering a 3-month demo for the first 50 users that contact us to give us an opportunity to show you that we can provide a valuable service. The data outside North America may not be perfect, but we'll work with you to resolve any issues.
We've coordinated with sub to make it easier to link scanned data to our schedules, so if you're a DVB-C, S or T user it should be fairly easy to link "what you scanned" with "what we have" to simplify the mapping. If we don't already have a mapping for your lineup, then that's something that we can work on; you would send us the raw scan and we'd correlate it on the server. If it takes a few iterations then your trial period won't start until the lineup is accurate.
What does it cost once the trial is over?
We charge USD $25/year for the schedule data; our last price increase from USD $20 to $25 was in September 2011, so our subscription fees have been low and stable. This includes multiple daily updates, up to 25 days of schedule data (dependent on the provider having a schedule that far into the future), coverart, icons, and graphics, as well as a single point of contact for schedule, program or lineup issues. If you don't want to commit to a year after your demo is over, we also offer 2-month subscriptions for USD $6.
At this time, we have data for the following countries:
Region:North America
United States
Canada
Region:Europe

If the sample data we send you looks good, then we'll send you a coupon code via email which you may apply to your account to begin the 90 day free trial.
